SUMMARY:Immigrants and Digital healthcare Symposium
DESCRIPTION:Digital healthcare should be accessible for everyone who can benefit from it. Unfortunately\, little is known about the perspectives and needs of various immigrant populations when it comes to digital healthcare. \nIn this interactive symposium\, we will present lessons learned from digital health cafés organised within immigrant communities in Groningen. Policymakers and other professionals are invited to actively engage during this event and discuss together what these findings mean for policy\, practice\, and future initiatives. Representatives of immigrant communities\, as well as immigrants themselves\, will explicitly be invited for this symposium. \nDuring the discussions\, an artist will create a visual poster that makes the outcomes of the dialogue visible. This symposium marks a first step towards more accessible digital healthcare for immigrant populations in our province. \nFor this project\, we are also looking for a student assistant who speaks Arabic and can support us during the digital health cafés. DESCRIPTION:Op donderdag 18 juni 2026 om 14.00 uur opent Windesheim in Zwolle haar deuren voor “Zorg meets Tech”. Tijdens dit event slaan Health Valley\, SPIRIT en TZA de handen ineen rond één centraal thema: technologie die écht werkt in de praktijk. \nDe druk op de zorgsector vraagt om een radicale omslag: hoe houden we de zorg toegankelijk\, kwalitatief goed én bemensbaar? Technologie is hierbij een onmisbaar instrument\, maar de echte waarde ontstaat pas in de samenwerking tussen de zorgpraktijk\, innovatieve ondernemers en praktijkgericht onderzoek. \nDaarom brengen SPIRIT\, TZA en Health Valley donderdag 18 juni zorg- en welzijnsorganisaties\, onderzoekers en ondernemers samen rond één centraal thema: technologie die écht werkt in de praktijk. Duurzaam & slim opschalen met zichtbare impact op capaciteit\, werkprocessen en samenwerking tussen ziekenhuis\, VVT en eerstelijnszorg. \n16:30 uur Challenge Based Innoveren \nHoe maak je van een urgente praktijkvraag een innovatie met impact? Annemarie de Vries (Health Valley) en Tom van den Belt (HAN University of Applied Sciences) delen hun ervaringen vanuit het programma Digital Health Challenge Lab.  In dit open innovatieprogramma worden maatschappelijke uitdagingen vanuit het zorg\, wonen en welzijndomein vertaald naar concrete oplossingen voor de wijk en de zorgpraktijk. \n16:50uur Afsluiting en drinks & bites \nLocatie en bereikbaarheid\nHet event vindt plaats in het Auditorium (gebouw H) van Hogeschool Windesheim in Zwolle.
